MGS Happy Hour with Riley Brinkerhoff

FreeMGS will be welcoming in the year with our first speaker of 2026: Riley Brinkerhoff on Wednesday, January 28th. His talk, titled The Ongoing Development of the Upper Cube; Adding Sticks Across the Uinta Basin, will discuss horizontal oil and gas drilling in the Uinta basin in Utah, including its geology, development, and future potential.
As usual, we will be meeting at Poly’s Place at 1704 Poly Drive in Billings (across from Rocky Mountain College). Come catch up with and make new friends and talk to Riley at the social hour from 5:30-6:30, followed by his talk starting at 6:30 with time for questions after. There will be pizza, and BYOB.
We are thankful to Poly’s Place for hosting us! Students are now free, MGS members are $10, and non-members are $20.
