MGS Happy Hour in Missoula

We are excited to announce an upcoming MGS Happy Hour this Thursday, April 25th in Missoula at the Imagine Nation Brewing from 5-8 pm. Our speaker will be Dr. Bob Lankston – he has informed us that he will be coming through town and has graciously offered to give a talk on Holocene Gas Hydrate Cement in Flathead Lake Sediments (see here for abstract).

We are very grateful to Bob for offering to give a talk to the society, as he has done great things for geology in the state of Montana. Of notable mention: he is one of the founding members of the Tobacco Root Geological Society!
